Undelete plus - New Version - And Still Free
Undelete Plus has released a new version of their award winning program and the good news is that it is still free for personal use. Some of the features of Undelete are the ability of the software to:
"Act as a quick and effective way to retrieve accidentally deleted files.
To remove files from the Recycle Bin.
To work within a DOS window.
To work from a network drive.
To work from Windows Explorer when the SHIFT key is held down."
Additionally, it works under Win 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 operating systems. One of the caveats the author makes is that it is highly recommended that you defrag. your system often for best results.
Outside of that, I keep a copy of Undelete Plus as part of my tool kit and it works very well. I highly recommend it and you still can't beat the price. 100% free and guaranteed no spyware. What more can you ask from a product.
version 2.2
We have all been in the situation before where we accidentally deleted that important file that you had been working on the past week. When you go to pull it out of the Recycle Bin, your fingers get slippery from all that stressful sweat and you hit "Empty Recycle Bin" instead. Is that file gone for good? Did you really mess up this time? Well before you quit your job and become a monk - try out Undelete Plus.
As you can see, this is a wonderful product. If you want to see it in action, the official Web site has more than just a few screenshots for you to see.
In my book, anything that can help you recover something you lost is a great thing indeed. This program is free, quick, and does not take a college degree to use. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
